The enemy is capturing the minds of children nowadays very easily. The parents think something is wrong with the child. They blame it to the culture, friendships, and groups their children belong to. How easily they are deceived that they cannot see their own major failure. The art of being the parent is not that easy, it has to be learned. That is why Paul reminds us with the most practical and effective way of raising children that would avoid millions of frustration. To me, it looks like, it is as hard and important as that of the duty of the army commander. Two things are mentioned： training and instruction. And the manual has to be that of the Lord. Training the mind, the heart, the soul, and the spirit as instructed by the Lord, not what you think is best for your children based on your experience or society's trend of thoughts. Once again, I kindly remind you, learn the manual, apply to yourself, understand and with love and kindness put them in your children when they are still young.
