Delightful and Fruitful
"but whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither-- whatever they do prospers." Ps 1:2-3
Living in an age of depression and frustration, David comes up with a practical suggestion for definite success and high order of joy. Due to the fall of the first man, human beings have the definite fall of refusing the easiest way for success and prosperity. Simple and small are the ways, effortless and painless are the methods given by the Lord. "Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." (Mt 11:29) Pain and misery are the consequences of sin, not only of the mind but also of the body after the fall. Laws are laws, not suggestions. By all means they have to be obeyed, followed and practiced. Gain is huge, unsurmountable are the fruits that proceeds by obedience to the divinely ordered principles. No order, no condition, no climate, and nothing can hinder the blessing that comes on the way. The enemy put a serious doubt on this unimaginable order of logic which is beyond the grasp of humans and that of angels. Living in an age of redemption, let's once again delight in the law of the Lord, mediate day and night and yield fruits in all seasons and prosper. Amen!
Heavenly Father, thank you for the reminder. Let me delight in your law with the help of your Spirit day and night that I may prosper and never wither. Amen!
