Accompanying Presence
Situations of insecurity is common to all men, rich or poor, strong or week, and tall or short. Cry for help to other humans, be it friends or family can be frustrating or unanswered. Follow the example of David, the Psalmist who knows to whom he should cry for help in times of need. In a flash of a moment he will be reminded, "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty" (Ps 91:1). To His friend Moses, who was tested and trained in the wilderness for forty years, God promised, "My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest" (Ex 33:14). Moses dared challenging even Pharaoh for he always believed in the accompanying presence that promised, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you" (Dt 31:6). Daily walk of life gives us enough opportunities to turn to God for His accompanying presence. Practice to walk along with the presence of God will ensure you all safety and success.
Abba, thank you for empowering me by your continued presence. Let your spirit praise you unceasingly. Amen.
