Full life is the desire of the Creator for all His children, and hence sent His Son who declares, “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly” (Jn 10:10). Encounter with everyday problems, at times leaves one with anxiety and depression, which deprives of the promised abundant life, “Worry can rob you of happiness, but kind words will cheer you up” (Prov 12:25). No father who loves his children would leave them struggle on their own with the things that they cannot and should not handle by themselves. That is why the chief apostle, Peter, shares his wisdom for a joy-filled life, “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you” (1 Pet 5:7). Trusting in the power of God that would solve all our problems and surrendering unto Him, can make our lives a lot more easier. Let’s believe and practice this mystery for abundant life.

Abba, I surrender all my anxieties and worries unto Your care. Let your Spirit fill me with great joy. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
