Introduce Him
Out of 7.4 billion people who live on earth, only 2.2 billion know the name and the message of the Messiah. The duty of every Christian should be sharing the Gospel he has received and the salvation he is enjoying, with the fellow men. John the Baptist who lived in the wilderness introduced Jesus to his followers, “but there stands One among you whom you do not know” (Jn 1:26), and the next day he also testified, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” (Jn 1:29). In the same way, Philip also introduced Jesus to Nathanael, “We have found Him of whom Moses in the law, and also the prophets, wrote—Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.” (Jn 1:45), and convinced him to experience the person of Christ by inviting, “Come and see” (Jn 1:46). Let’s take pleasure in introducing Him to our friends and families every day.
Abba, thank you for sending your Son to save us. Let your Spirit give us courage and compassion to share the Gospel, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
