Organic food, physical exercise, and vitamin supplements are recommended for perfect health, but tiredness and fatigue are unavoidable. Prophet Isaiah comes up with the best solution that would renew our strength day by day, “But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint” (Is 40:31). To receive the blessings promised in the text above demands a condition to be fulfilled, i.e., TRUST in the Lord. David, the shepherd king, who gained great victories by trusting God, sings out aloud, “O my God, I trust in thee” (Ps 25:2). Faith in the promise of the unfailing power of the Word of God releases limitless amount of strength and achieves unimaginable things. Christ, too, insists on the requirement of faith and trust, “if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you” (Mt 17:20). Let’s declare in faith the divine promises and enjoy renewed strength every day. 

Abba, thank You for the promise of renewed strength. Let your Spirit stir up the faith in me, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
