Living in an age of mistrust, separation, and abandonment, the world is getting filled with hopeless and homeless people. Here comes the word of hope and compassion from the unfailing love of God which promises, “So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither leave you nor abandon you” (Deut 31:6). Unimaginable love of God reiterates the depth of His divine love through prophets, “Can a woman forget her nursing child, or have no compassion for the child of her womb? Even these mothers may forget; But as for me, I’ll never forget you!” (Is 49:15). The Master Craftsman who designed us with a definite purpose, can never despise His own image, “Remember these things, O Jacob, And Israel, for you are My servant; I have formed you, you are My servant, O Israel, you will not be forgotten by Me” (Is 44:21). David, even though enjoyed family and friendship, declares with utmost confidence in the unfailing love of God, “For my father and my mother have forsaken me, But the LORD will take me up” (Ps 27:10). Let our hearts and lives be healed by the faith in this unconditional, unfailing, non-forsaking love of God. 

Abba, we bow down before You for this unfailing love. Let your Spirit give us joy and peace, in Jesus’ powerful name, Amen.
