Healing and miracles proceed with the right word that proceeds from the Word Incarnate, hence Peter requested and said, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have words of eternal life” (Jn 6:68). Christ also confirmed being The Word who completed the creation into being and who came down in flesh and redeemed mankind reaffirmed, “What gives life is God’s Spirit; human power is of no use at all. The words I have spoken to you bring God’s life-giving Spirit” (Jn 6:63). Life is desired by everyone; hence Christ has to be desired because He said a word that brought an impossible task at work with an immediate effect, “Holding her hand, he said to her, ‘Talitha koum,’ which means ‘Little girl, get up!’”(Mk 5:41). It might look mysterious and strange but healing was declared with the perfect word that remains the complete answer for the healing deserved, “Looking up to heaven, he sighed and said, ‘Ephphatha,’ which means, ‘Be opened!’” (Mk 7:34). Let’s look up to heaven and bow down in reverence for this mysterious arrangements of healing.

Abba, thank you for sending Your Word in person for helping and healing us. Let Your Spirit enlighten this mystery, in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
