Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Mt 18:3

Kingdom Entry

The gates of heaven automatically opens for a special category of people who possess the mentality of little children, “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it” (Mt 7:13). Letting go of our inflated ego is an essential necessity to enter the kingdom gate, for it prevents the worldly competent and big, who neglect the other. The innocence and forgiveness of children are amazingly been appreciated by great authors. We all came here on earth as children and hence possess the capacity to remain with the gentleness of children. If we remember to remain children, how easy it would be to enter the kingdom that is meant for the simple, “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven” (Mt 5:3). Why forget the advice of The Only One who came from heaven and clearly expressed the condition for kingdom entry, “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven” (Mt 18:3). Life will become beautiful and wonderful, and we can keep our surrounding gentle and fragrant, that makes the earth a garden, full of colourful flowers.

Abba, thank you for sending us unto the earth as children. Let your Spirit help us remain with the same spirit of little children and gain kingdom entry, in Jesus’ most powerful name, Amen.
