The knowledge about the promises of God can keep us calm and stable amidst difficulties. When He gives a task He provides tools to handle and His presence as protection, as He did with Moses: “And he said, ‘My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.’” (Ex 33:14). Jacob fought with God for His company, as he had no one to rely on, and received an answer, “Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land. For I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you” (Gen 28:15). In fact, God takes great pleasure in being with His children, as John himself got revealed, “And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, ‘Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.’” (Revelation 21:3). Let’s  stay relaxed for He never fails His promises and people who trust on Him. 

Abba, thank you for helping us to trust your promises. Let your Spirit strengthen us in faith that we may remain healed, in Jesus’ Most Holy Name, Amen.
