Believers should never take for granted their knowledge as a compass, for it may lead no further; so we should always pray for His guidance, along with David, “Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your gracious Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing” (Ps 143:10). The Great Light that dwelled among us, shared His wisdom for our benefit, “But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come” (Jn 16:13). And He even affirmed and reconfirmed to His choicest, beloved apostles, regarding the ministry with the support of the Spirit, “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift the Father promised, which you have heard Me discuss” (Acts 1:4). Let’s kneel down and pray that God may give us more of His Spirit, to face the challenges that are set before us, and accomplish victory.

Abba, thank you for being mindful of us, sinners, yet provide your Most Holy Spirit. Together with Him, we worship and adore You, and believe and receive blessings, in Jesus’ Most Gracious Name, Amen.
