Modern world does not recognise the true difference between the temporal and the eternal. Advice has been given to consider and invest for the best benefit, “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” (Mt 6:19-21). The best example was given by Christ, about the one who had no knowledge, and neglected wisdom, “So the Rich Man called to him, ‘Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.’” (Lk 16:24). A few sharing, sometimes might win the favour from God, and keep us in Heaven eternally, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow Me” (Mt 19:21). Let’s give heed to Heaven’s advice, and make the best investment.
