The security and protection we should enjoy and feel, come from the affirmation of our Divine Ownership, as we got confirmed by Prophet Isaiah, “But now, this is what the Lord says—he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: ‘Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.’” (Is 43:1). The outpouring love of God is reaffirmed by his prophesy, “Since you are precious and honored in my sight, and because I love you, I will give people in exchange for you, nations in exchange for your life” (Is 43:4). And the choice began not out of our goodness, but because He had planned our lives, and blessed us from the beginning, “Thus says the LORD who made you And formed you from the womb, who will help you, 'Do not fear, O Jacob My servant; And you Jeshurun whom I have chosen.’” (Is 44:2). Let’s believe that we belong to Him, and hence He won’t give up His chosen ones. 

Abba, thank you for being our Divine Owner. Let your Spirit remind us of this mystery that we may enjoy peace and calm, in Jesus’ Most Holy Name, Amen.
