The expression of faith that David sets before us, is explained by an amazing example, of the king of animals that never goes hungry, “Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those who trust in the LORD will lack no good thing” (Ps 34:10). Escaping from the evil queen, Jezebel, who was after the life of the greatest prophet Elijah, who had demonstrated that God was on his side; when he ran for life, he never lacked protection, “The ravens brought him bread and meat each morning and evening, and he drank from the brook” (1 Kings 17:6). Let’s never cease to believe the unfailing love of God that provides perfect protection, as the Psalmist himself declares and sings, “The LORD is my shepherd; I have all that I need” (Ps 23:1). May we encourage each other about the love of the Heavenly Father, which is more than the love of mother toward the child; hence, we shall praise Him forever for His constant protection.

Abba, we bow down before You for providing us with this perfect protection. Let Your Spirit remind us to worship You and thank You for sustaining us, in Jesus’ Most Mighty Name, Amen.
