The very high authority that was placed on Peter’s shoulder, we do have the right to enjoy as fellow believers of Christ, and need to inherit: “Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven” (Mt 18:18). The condition for exercising, such great authority, depends on the agreement of faith in prayer, as that is reinstated in Christ’s own words, “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven” (Mt 18:19). The protection God extends, to His beloved children, who trust in His words, is immeasurable, as David himself enjoyed and composed as a song, “There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways” (Ps 91:10-11). Let’s praise God, for the arrangement of protection, that He extends to each one of us. 

Abba, thank You for keeping us co-heirs with Christ, to enjoy the authority and protection. Let Your Spirit fill our minds with peace, in Jesus’ Most Wonderful Name, Amen.
