The One who pronounced and declared light into being, has sent His very Son, who claimed that He is also light, “And God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light” (Gen 1:3). Being the followers of Christ, we should firmly believe that all our fears and doubts will go away, for He is illuminating our lives, “When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, ‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.’” (Jn 8:12). As we receive illumination from Him, we also have the responsibility of sharing the light with fellow brethren, who are really in need, “You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden” (Mt 5:14). Let’s never give up hope, for our dear Lord will always strengthen us, and lead us towards full life. 

Abba, thank You for enlightening our minds and souls. Let Your Spirit accompany us in this journey of life, in Jesus’ Most Beautiful Name, Amen.
