One of the perfect conditions for personal prayer is remaining alone, and calling unto God, who is our Creator and Sustainer; that is why Christ shared that secret with His beloved: “But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you” (Mt 6:6). An assurance of faith, is an essential condition that God loves us and He would give heed to our sincerest prayers: “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours” (Mk 11:24). We should believe in the promise of Christ, that is more than a commitment, to be with us, as we are His believers that He would definitely fulfil: “And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age” (Mt 28:20). Let’s encourage each other to pray and believe in the abiding presence of God that surrounds us and keeps us safe.

Abba, thank You for answering our prayers when we are most in need. Let Your Spirit strengthen our faith, and keep united with you, in Jesus’ Most Wonderful Name, Amen.
