We all need protection, that God alone can provide to the full, as David the Psalmist, who enjoyed that by himself, sings in joy and declares: “There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling” (Ps 91:10). Moses encouraged the Israelites, to believe in God’s perfect protection under the leadership of the upcoming leader, Joshua: “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you” (Deu 31:6). The pioneer evangelist, Paul, comes up with a word that would lift up our spirits and our souls, towards uplifting of faith, “But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one” (2 Thes 3:3). Let’s take shelter, in the promises of God that provides and protects, in all our needs.

Abba, thank You for giving us faith and hope, by the promises that are kept in the Bible. Let Your Spirit lift our faith, so that we can receive miracles and protection, in Jesus’ Most Glorious Name, Amen.
