The only one who deserves the highest praise, is our God alone, that is why David, who enjoyed favours from God, invites us to rejoice in Him, “I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High” (Ps 9:2). Everyday life involves a lot of challenges that we would win, when we have the good God as our stronghold, for Prophet Nahum shares his faith toward our benefit, “The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows those who trust in Him” (Nahum 1:7). Nothing should trouble us, when we declare our faith in God, who protected David constantly; that is why he could assert his faith in the following words, as God Himself spoke to him, “A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you” (Ps 91:7). Let’s rejoice in praising the God who is most high, and enjoy the benefits that is the due of His beloved children.

Abba, thank You for creating us to praise You, for You alone are the Most High. Let Your Spirit fill our hearts with praises and worship. In the Most Holy Name of Jesus, Amen.
