The condition for enjoying the perfect peace, which God alone can give me, comes only when we give up our fear, and let our hearts remain untroubled, “I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid” (Jn 14:27). To achieved the trouble-free heart, Christ also gives us a lesson, to deepen our faith in God and in Christ, “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe in Me as well” (Jn 14:1). Paul, the apostle, also blesses us and greets us with the peace of Christ, that will guard our minds, “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Phil 4:7). May the peace of Christ alleviate all our troubles and fears, that we may enjoy life as God’s children.

Abba, thank You for filling our minds and hearts with Your infinite peace. Let Your Spirit help us wear a trouble-free, and fear-less mind. In Jesus’ Most Holy Name, Amen.
