The children of God need not worry or fear the enemy, for the Lord pitches His camp in our midst to protect us, as revealed through Prophet Zephaniah: “The LORD hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: the king of Israel, even the LORD, is in the midst of thee: thou shalt not see evil any more” (Zeph 3:15). The assurance of our God’s protection alone, can be our source of joy, that need to be expressed in a loud voice, “Cry aloud and shout for joy, O inhabitant of Zion, For great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel” (Is 12:6). What a privilege it is, to be called God’s elect, and supported by constant intersession by the Risen Lord. “Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died--more than that, who was raised to life--is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us” (Rom 8:33-34). Let’s keep in mind this blessed protection we have, as Christ’s own brothers and sisters.

Abba, thank You for being in our midst, even though unworthy we are. Let Your Spirit praise You continuously for this ultimate protection, in Jesus’ Most Mighty Name, Amen.
