The most astonishing fact that should surprise us with joy is God’s immeasurable love that He holds for His children who revere Him, as the psalmist sings with delight: “For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him” (Ps 103:11). The response we extend to the love of God, according to Jesus, is obeying His teachings, that would bring God to make His abode with the believer, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them” (Jn 14:23). While praying for the believers in Ephesus, Paul pleads that they may comprehend the mystery of the unfathomable love, that provides, cares, and protects every believer, forever: “may [you] have power, together with all the Lord's holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ” (Eph 3:18). May we be filled with this love of God, that we may transform the world by sharing His love. 

Abba, thank You for bestowing unto us with Your infinite love. Let Your Spirit help us receive and share His love wherever we go. In Jesus’ Most Loving Name, Amen.
