Men of today take pride in their race, education, and economical wellbeing; but a true believer should always declare his pride in God’s eternal love for him: “Long ago the LORD said to Israel: ‘I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself.’” (Jer 31:3). A true spiritual revelation should enable us to grasp His drawing unto Himself, is the basis for our love, as the beloved apostle also declares, “We love him, because he first loved us” (1 Jn 4:19). We can reciprocate His love for us, only when we realize the sacrifice He made for us to make us His beloved eternally: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (Jn 3:16). Nothing can be compared to this perfect love of our Creator that keeps each and every one of us as more valuable and lovable. 

Abba, thank You for Your eternal love, that is beyond our imagination and comprehension, for we are unworthy of this great love. Let Your Spirit help us understand and respond to this love in our daily lives. In Jesus’ Most Loving Name, Amen.
