Ailment of any kind keeps us focused on pain and discomfort, and we are distracted from the word of God that heals the body, mind and spirit. Hence, Solomon’s proverbs realign our selves back to God’s sayings: “My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings” (Prov 4:20). Keeping His words deep within our hearts will strengthen our faith, that would release the healing that is necessary; but it takes effort and will to do that, and we practice as advised by the wise man: “Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart” (Prov 4:21). The power and secret that God’s word contains are beyond our comprehension, but it definitely achieves what it promises; therefore, we bow down to that for receiving health: “For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh” (Prov 4:22). May He send His word that releases us from all discomforts and sicknesses, and restore health. 

Abba, thank You for Your astonishing words that heal us. Let Your Spirit plead along with us, and renew us back to health. In Jesus’ Most Healing Name, Amen.
