The path that leads us to life has enough and more challenges; hence courage is needed to endure and attain success. By our own efforts alone, we cannot achieve this; God knows this and that is why He extends His willingness to accompany us in the journey. From His personal experience with the Lord, Moses encouraged Joshua with the assurance of the Lord’s company, and commanded him to depend entirely on God, “Be determined and confident. Do not be afraid of them. Your God, the Lord himself, will be with you” (Deut 31:6). We will be able to overcome anything that hinders us from the blessed life He has kept in store for us, when we keep the faith that led great champions of faith. We should never doubt or forget His promise of leading us along the way, for “He will not fail you or abandon you” (Deut 31:6). Let’s be grateful for this privilege and joyfully celebrate each moment of our lives.

Abba, thank You for providing us with Your Protecting Presence. Let Your Spirit strengthen us and be with us along the way, in Jesus’ Most Powerful Name, Amen.
