The apostles who have seen Jesus performing the greatest miracles knew that He had an unique kind of faith that He kept; hence they requested Him that He should increase their faith: “The apostles said to the Lord, ‘Make our faith greater.’” (Lk 17:5) The answer given by Jesus was that even if they had a little faith, then they could command it into action: The Lord answered, “If you had faith as big as a mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘Pull yourself up by the roots and plant yourself in the sea!’ and it would obey you.” (Lk 17:6). Let’s have the courage to say and declare that we may receive the seemingly difficult and the impossible into reality, for Jesus Himself emphasized that faith definitely manifests itself into action. 

Abba, thank You for giving us the greatest gift of faith. Let Your Spirit help us believe and exercise our faith, in Jesus’ Most Powerful Name, Amen.
