Holding onto His promises and trusting His words, only can keep our spirits calm and courageous, for we have nothing else and no one else to save us. The surest ground that we can stand on and be stable is promised through His prophet: “Israel, the Lord who created you says, ‘Do not be afraid—I will save you. I have called you by name—you are mine.’” (Is 43:1). Hence, we should saturate our minds with the truth that we are His, and since it is His duty to save us and protect us. We can always rely upon Him, for He has assured His Own Presence to be with us, as said in the same chapter: “Do not be afraid—I am with you!” (Is 43:5). Let’s thank and praise Him for the privilege He has endowed upon us.

Abba, thank You for keeping us as Your own. Let Your Spirit comfort us with Your promises of Your words and presence, in Jesus’ Most Powerful Name, Amen.
