Knowledge of God
The knowledge of God that is beyond the comprehension of the human mind, can never be attained by any study in schools of the learned; it can only be achieved by revelation. Jesus, during His first visit on earth, chose a few and revealed to them that knowledge, yearned by prophets and kings for many centuries. “My Father has given me all things. No one knows who the Son is except the Father, and no one knows who the Father is except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.” Then Jesus turned to the disciples and said to them privately, “How fortunate you are to see the things you see! I tell you that many prophets and kings wanted to see what you see, but they could not, and to hear what you hear, but they did not.” (Lk 10:22-24) May we stay close to Jesus and give heed to Him, that we may enjoy the privileged knowledge of God, that only can fulfil the thirst of our soul and spirit.
Abba, thank You for sending Your Son to reveal about You. Let Your Spirit increase our faith to comprehend the mystery unfathomable, in Jesus’ Most Wonderful Name, Amen.
