The major difference between the believer and the others is giving the credit that is due to God for the blessings that they enjoy in their lives. Writing such a spiritual journal of gratitude to God’s activity in our lives will not only strengthen our faith but will also remain a record that would take the good news to the coming generations. That is why Psalmist invites us to join him to be scribes for God: “Write down for the coming generation what the Lord has done, so that people not yet born will praise him” (Ps 102:18). May we take time to admit the wonders God does in our favor and register it for the spiritual wellbeing of those who are yet to be born.

Abba, thank You so much for inspiring us to write on Your behalf. Let Your Spirit remind us and lead us in inscribing God’s activity in our daily lives, in Jesus’ Holiest Name, Amen.
