As we grow physically we need to grow in loving each other. How do we know that we have sufficiently grown? It is by checking the list of fear in our lives, for fear indicates the lack of love in our lives, as John reveals: “There is no fear in love; perfect love drives out all fear. So then, love has not been made perfect in anyone who is afraid, because fear has to do with punishment” (1 Jn 4:18). May we ask God to fill our hearts with more love so that we may love Him and those who are around us, to have a fearless life.

Abba, thank You for loving us continuously. Let Your Spirit enable us to realize and appreciate the love we receive and extend love in return, in Jesus’ Most Loving Name, Amen.
