There are so many things that we can do to please God and get His blessings, but the chiefest among them is praising Him. God alone deserves blessings, for He is the Creator of the entire universe as well as our own selves. Hence, praising Him is not only our duty but also a special obligation that we need to practice to have an unlimited supply of grace. David, who has hailed from a shepherd to a king, never forgot this duty, and that is why he sings, “I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth” (Ps 34:1). May we never grow tired of praising Him, for that brings infinite amount of blessings on us.

Abba, thank You for accepting our praises. Let Your Spirit remind us to praise You forever, in Jesus’ Most Wonderful Name, Amen.
