One thing that we never forget is that the God whom we adore and worship never abandons us or fails us, for it is His nature that pursues His beloved children, wherever they are and whatever they go through. In times of trouble, faith and confidence in His pursuing love will liberate us from all struggles. David enjoyed the divine Shepherd’s pursuing love; hence he sang: “Kindness and faithful love pursue me every day of my life. I make my home in the house of Yahweh for all time to come” (Ps 23:6). May we thank God every day for pursuing us with kindness and faithful love, every day of our life. 

Abba, thank You for following us with kindness and faithful love. Let Your Spirit confirm us with the faith that strengthens us, in Jesus’ Most Powerful Name, Amen.
