However talented or gifted we may be, one thing that we cannot control is ageing. As we grow old, one thing that we cannot accept is the challenges that our body brings before us. But the one thing that cannot fade away is our spiritual being, if we take efforts and renew it on a daily basis. Paul recommends that we keep this as a priority to get rid of any discouragement or weakness, in his letter to the believers: “For this reason we never become discouraged. Even though our physical being is gradually decaying, yet our spiritual being is renewed day after day” (2 Cor 4:16). May God grant us the grace of healing to our physical self, and renew our spirit constantly. 

Abba, thank You for healing us and renewing our spiritual being every day. Let Your Spirit refresh us by His constant anointing, in Jesus’ Most Wonderful Name, Amen.
