Our parents will grow old and depart from us, our friends may leave and abandon us due to unforeseen reasons, and even those whom we trust may disappoint and fail us; then, whom shall we trust to accompany us although our lives? The answer is sung by the psalmist, who enjoyed God’s ever abiding presence that encompassed him in the journey of life. “Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence?” (Ps 139:7) Oh, what a wonderful love that follows us continuously even though we may not sense or take notice. As believers and the children of God, may we be confident about His accompanying presence and enjoy being with Him.

Abba, thank You so much for always being present in our lives. Let Your Spirit make us realizeYour guarding presence and rejoice, in Jesus’ Most Wonderful Name, Amen.
