Some of us get readily accepted wherever we go, whereas some others feel neglected or rejected. The reason why this happens is whether we have belongingness toward that or not. Christ has foretold it centuries ago, and asked us not to feel discouraged when we are not accepted or promoted by the world, for we belong to Him. “If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you” (Jn 15:19). May we feel proud and satisfied that we are chosen by Him, and this belongingness should make us feel contented in all circumstances. 

Abba, thank You for making us belong to You. Let Your Spirit make us feel satisfied by being with You, in Jesus’ Most Loving Name, Amen.
