Words of Faith
The most important thing in the life of a believer is to declare words of faith, upon facing the battle beyond his own capacity. Recalling the victories that God has won for us in the past, can only strengthen our faith; otherwise we would be easily deceived to loose heart and declare failure. Facing the enemy of a huge stature, David did not count on his strength or think about his weakness, but remembered the battles God fought for him and declared the words of faith: “David said moreover, The Lord that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the Lord be with thee” (1 Sam 17:37). However difficult and impossible the situations may seem, let us imitate the faith of David and give all glory to the Almighty God, who definitely protects us and provides us with victory.
Abba, thank You for delivering us from the hand of our enemies and saving us. Let Your Spirit make us entirely depend upon Your Strength, in Jesus’ Most Powerful Name, Amen.
