We are never assured of a trouble-free life, as we remain as believers. But we are told that our God will definitely deliver us from anything that tries to harm us. Hence, we should have an unshakeable faith in this promise of His protection and rely on Him: “The righteous person may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all” (Ps 34:19). It might look simple and easy to entirely depend on Him, but in reality, it is a difficult task that we have to go through, trusting in His promise. May He give us enough faith to hold on to His words that never fail. 

Abba, thank You for inviting us to rely on You. Let Your Spirit encourage us to put our trust in Your words, in Jesus’ Most Wonderful Name, Amen.
