The world teaches us to seek so many things, such as money, pleasure and status, which are temporary and fading. But as children of God, we need to search and seek things that are eternal - the face of God. Because only from Him comes our sustenance and strength; so we always need to seek Him. The psalmist found His strength only by being with Him; hence he sang, “Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always.” (Ps 105:4). May we be truly satisfied by finding Him and remaining in His sight, for that would provide all that we need to enjoy a blessed life. 

Abba, thank You for being the source of our searching. Let Your Spirit enable us to enjoy Your presence more than anything else, in Jesus’ Most Wonderful Name, Amen.
