Everyone desires miracles, but no one knows how to receive them. The incident that took place in the wedding at Cana gives us a clue as to how we have to behave to receive a miracle. The need was reported to Jesus in the form of a prayer, and His Word was received as a command, which, without any hesitation, was performed and they had plenty of wine for the celebration. “Jesus said to the servants, ‘Fill the jars with water’; so they filled them to the brim” (Jn 2:7). We all have needs that God alone can satisfy, provided we submit our requests to Him and follow His commands. May we trust in His power to transform any situation and to give us the desired need, and do anything He asks of us, regardless of the efforts that are required. 

Abba, thank you for listening to our prayers. Let Your Spirit make us listen and obey Your commands to receive blessings and miracles, in Jesus’ Most Powerful Name, Amen.
