Time is the greatest gift that we have received from the hands of God. By using it in the right way, we can make unimaginable achievements. Realization of the swiftness of time makes mankind grow tired and impatient. In spiritual life, we need to trust in the ultimate mercy of God, which never lets us fall. Hence, we need to grow strong in waiting for the intervention of God, who alone can transform our lives for better. The psalmist shares his wisdom, so that we can stay calm however difficult the situation may be: “Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD” (Ps 27:14). May God sustain us to hold fast unto Him, as He is our only hope and salvation. 

Abba, thank You so much for looking upon us. Let Your Spirit strengthen our faith and cultivate patience in us, in Jesus’ Most Merciful Name, Amen.
