We all give word to people or make promises and struggle to keep them. Sometimes we do take our word back due to our inability fulfilling them. But God is not like us. He not only makes the covenant but also remembers that, and blesses us according to His Word. David gratefully acknowledged that even the very food that he received came according to the covenant of God: “He provides food for those who fear him; he remembers his covenant forever” (Ps 111:5). May we recognize the multitude of blessings we enjoy and thank God sufficiently for them.

Abba, thank you so much for feeding us and providing us. Let Your Spirit make us realize that you always remember us, in Jesus’ Most Powerful Name, Amen.
