It is natural that when we love someone, we like to do things that will be good for them. The situation that we are in may make us suspect about the plans the Good Lord has toward us. Whatever the mess we have created by our own mistakes, God still can alter and transform them in our favor. Paul was so convinced of this fact, hence he writes: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose” (Rom 8:28). May we believe in the power and love of God, that work everything for our good because we are His beloved children.

Abba, thank You for working for the good of us. Let Your Spirit make us believe in this greatest love that follows us wherever we are, in Jesus’ Most Loving Name, Amen.
