Protection is one thing that we all need. No amount of our own efforts can provide us with the protection we need; hence we should look for the perfect protection that shields, as the psalmist declares: “You bless those who obey you, Lord; your love protects them like a shield” (Ps 5:12). May the Lord be merciful to us, and forgive us for our sins, and shower His Love that surrounds us as the perfect shield.

Abba, thank You for always forgiving and loving us. Let Your Spirit pray along with us to remain under His loving shield, in Jesus’ Most Loving Name, Amen.
