Happiness comes to a person through various means. Most of the times it is temporary and not fulfilling. That is why we should look up to the Lord for real happiness, that is permanent and soul-filling. David enjoyed such real joy; hence he acclaimed and sang: "For you make me glad by your deeds, LORD; I sing for joy at what your hands have done" (Ps 92:4). May we praise and be satisfied with the deeds of God, that can bring us true joy and peace.

Abba, thank You for making us glad by Your deeds. Let Your Spirit make us be grateful for all Your actions, in Jesus' Most Loving Name, Amen.
