In the life of an individual or a community or nation, peace must be the priority. To achieve that we need to be really passionate about it, as Peter writes: “You must turn away from evil and do good; you must strive for peace with all your heart” (1 Pet 3:11). May we desire peace above everything else; then God will certainly provide us with that gift. Let us pray, today, that God will bring peace to our individual lives and to our families.

Abba, thank You for giving us the gift of peace. Let Your Spirit fill our hearts and minds with the Peace of Christ, In Jesus’ Most Wonderful Name, Amen.
