People depend upon different things such as family, job, money and so on. Even then we lack so many things. When we truly depend on God, we should not have any lack. Because He is the shepherd who has plenty of love towards us all. David definitely had enjoyed this caring love; hence he was able to sing: "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want" (Ps 23:1). May we develop this faith and declare that we belong to Him, and enjoy His providential care.

Abba, thank You for keeping us in Your flock. Let Your Spirit fill our mind with hope in Him, In Jesus’ Most Loving Name, Amen.
