Life has many questions that we need to find answers for. But we do not know where to find the right answers that we need to receive. We need to know that God whom we adore and worship is the author and giver of all wisdom. He not only gives us wisdom when we sincerely pray for it, but also He has kept amidst us people to whom He has imparted wisdom to guide and lead His people, and whom we need to trust and follow. In Old Testament times, Solomon was blessed with such kind of wisdom that people from all walks of life came to listen: “And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon concerning the name of the LORD, she came to prove him with hard questions” (1 Kings 10:1). May God grant us wisdom to know how and where we should proceed so that we stay close to the guidance we need.

Abba, thank You for giving us wisdom. Let Your Spirit give us the grace of listening to wisdom to lead our lives according to Your plans, in Jesus’ Most Wonderful Name, Amen.
