People tend to be close to God when there are continuous blessing and prosperity. The moment sufferings come into their lives, they begin to doubt and question the providence and the existence of God. Such feeble faith and love are not sufficient to be in a true and lasting relationship with God. We need to have the strongest conviction and commitment like Paul, who amidst all trails and tribulation did not waver from the love he had for God: “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,  Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Rom 8:38-39). May God give us the grace of His everlasting love that captures our hearts and keeps our love stable.

Abba, Thank You so much for loving us unconditionally. Let Your Spirit make us truly committed to this inseparable love, In Jesus’ Most Loving Name, Amen
