The events that happens in the life of an individual or that of a movement or a nation are totally unpredictable. Future unfolds itself into the present in an astonishing manner that surprises everyone. A sinner may turn and become a believer, the oppressed are set free and liberated, and the sick receive healing in a miraculous way. How do we expect the blessing that we are praying for, and when do we receive the answer, from heaven? Everything is determined by God, whose timing for making them happen is just perfect; hence we need to trust and wait on Him, as the Philosopher states: “He has set the right time for everything. He has given us a desire to know the future, but never gives us the satisfaction of fully understanding what he does.” (Ecc 3:11). May we believe in the compassion and knowledge of God who definitely considers our needs and leads us into His plans of prosperity.

Abba, thank You so much for being in control of our lives. Let Your Spirit make us believe in Your time of grace and mercy, in Jesus’ Most Merciful Name, Amen.
