Any profession demands certain qualifications from candidates to be selected and appointed. It is astonishing to know the question Peter was asked in his final interview before getting the assignment of being the shepherd of His church. “So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.” (Jn 21:15). Love is the chief of requirements for anyone who is passionate about serving God’s children. May God grant each of us the love that is necessary for guiding and leading those whom we are entrusted with. 

Abba, Thank You so much for keeping love as the condition for mission. Let Your Spirit fill our hearts with true love, in Jesus’ Most Loving Name, Amen.
